     Radical Passivity as a Form for You

I will present an investigation into radical passivity and live publishing in the context of performance. My submission seeks to articulate an active and performative context to academic writing positioned in a practice-based PhD programme. In demonstrating an approach that brings writing and research into an alignment with artistic practice, the implications and creative potentials at stake in the process may be shared. I will contribute a performance lecture which uses the structure of the “research paper” to consider how academic and artistic production may be viewed as mutually constitutive to the PhD as an “object”.
