Dramaturgical Text
in Contemporary Theater versus Digital
Image or “Digital dramaturgy”

In many academic circles the term dramaturgy is still linked to the written text, separating it from the term performance. Attention will be focused on a fundamental issue: tensions between live ontology of theatre arts, text and the mediation of virtual technologies through analysing the process of dramaturgy in the creation of The Earth Trembles: Niger Delta, from the Spanish company Agrupación Señor Serrano, and of Backstage memories 1. by the Belgian company Artara.
