     A Wildish Space

The verbal and the visual meet in digital space. It’s an awkward meeting, all fingers and thumbs. Also a reunion—after centuries of print restraint. And a reinvention: all the technologies are strangers to each other, barely knowing how to shake hands. My proposal is to present a battery of questions, not answering any except insofar as performance itself procures an answer, and the human voice acts as a kind of governor. Writing is embodied (in that minimalist way of writing) and will be increasingly body-conscious as the visual and verbal stumble towards one another again, to be re-made in digital space.
