     Plurality of Languages

I will invite the conference participants to partake in a new iteration of  Plurality of Languages,  a series of collaborative and collective performances which I have been developing since January 2015. The performance is a canon reading of translations of  Pluralität der Sprachen, a short entry in Hannah Arendt's  Denktagebuch. The translations have been produced by participants to workshops I have developed inside and outside the academic world around Arendt's text. We can use the existing body of translations (currently available in 20 languages) or new ones written by participants to a workshop I also propose to organize as part of the conference program.
