Writing as a Method
In my paper, I would like to share thoughts on how writing can be used not only as a practice (and practice as writing), but as a method (or methods) as well: as a method of inquiry in scientific writing, as a pedagogic tool in teaching, and as a node where literature and science intra-act.
I will especially focus on the experiences I have of teaching PhD-students in artistic research in reflexive academic writing, as a means to talk about how courses in writing(s) and method(s) can be developed in artistic research through the lens of transdisciplinarity.
